Sean currently serves as Partner and Managing Director at the Stage 2 Capital Accelerator; an investment firm focused on early-stage software companies. Prior to starting the Accelerator, Sean held various roles in strategy, growth, and finance. He worked in corporate strategy at The Walt Disney Company and M&A investment banking at BofA Merrill Lynch. He served as a growth advisor to several start-ups in Los Angeles and also founded and led the Emerging Leaders Syndicate, a professional development community for go-to-market executives.
Beyond business, Sean is passionate about conservation, research, and education. He has been involved in wildlife for over 25 years and has participated in expeditions to Costa Rica, Panama, and across the US. He has also conducted research in astrophysics at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and in microbiology at Harvard Medical School.
In addition to Mamoni Valley Preserve, Sean serves as a conservation advisor to Mass Audubon, Zoo New England, and Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary.
Educational Background: Sean holds an AB in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
