The Eight-Day Journey
Day One — Arrival at Casa Viva
Arrival into Panama and settling into Casa Viva. Explore bamboo groves and forest trails, followed by a welcome dinner.
Day Two — Rainforest Trails & River Swimming
Guided rainforest exploration and wildlife observation, swimming in the Mamoní River, then stargazing and a bonfire.
Day Three — River Adventure & Caribbean Arrival
Scenic rafting and a journey through eastern Panama to Gunayala, with a boat transfer and an evening on a remote island.
Day Four — Indigenous Culture & Marine Exploration
A visit with the Guna community, traditional weaving and mola artistry, hands-on cultural workshops, snorkeling, and a traditional canoe experience.
Day Five — Caribbean Island Discovery
Island hopping through sandbars and coral reefs, snorkeling, and unhurried island exploration.
Day Six — Casco Viejo
Return to Panama City to explore Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage district, staying at a boutique hotel with evening dining among the plazas.
Day Seven — Wildlife Safari & Panama Canal
A boat safari and wildlife viewing on Gatún Lake, the Panama Canal at the Miraflores Locks, and a farewell dinner.

Casa Viva — Your Rainforest Basecamp
Set within the forested hills of the Mamoní Valley, Casa Viva is a place of simplicity and stillness. Built in harmony with the landscape it overlooks, it offers comfort without excess — open-air living, long views across the canopy, and the constant company of birdsong. It is more than a place to stay: Casa Viva sits within a privately protected reserve, a living example of how thoughtful stewardship and genuine hospitality can share the same ground.
A Private Cabana for Two
Throughout the journey — in the forested hills of Casa Viva and on the palm-lined shores of Gunayala — each couple settles into their own private cabana. Simply and thoughtfully built, each cabana offers a restful retreat and an ensuite bathroom.

Every journey helps protect the corridor it passes through. Half of your program fee is a tax-deductible contribution to Mamoní Valley Preserve; the balance covers the experience itself.
