You’re protecting and preserving one of our planet’s most unique natural treasures: the Mamoní Valley in Panama, home to thousands of species of plants and animals. You’re supporting the work we do to protect our Valley, our biodiversity, our local indigenous communities, and our sustainable community development programs.
How to donate?
Firstly, you can donate to the MVP through a Donar-Advised Fund, or DAF. It’s a giving account established at a public charity. It allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants from the fund over time. You as a donor can contribute to the fund as frequently as you like, and then recommend grants to your favorite charitable organizations whenever it makes sense to you.
You can donate through Givebutter, an all-in-one fundraising, cloud-based platform that offers the tools for collecting donations, running social peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, selling tickets to fundraising events, and more.
The MVP has also partnered with DonateStock.com to enable you to make stock donations in 10 minutes or less. You can donate stock from your brokerage directly to our account through a secure portal, making the gifting process fast, safe, and easy. You avoid the tax on the gain while deducting 100% of the value of the contribution.
